An artist widely respected, Arnold Bezuyen’s career has covered a vast repertoire, with particular highlights including Tamino for the Staatsoper Wien, David Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and Stravinsky's Les Noces with Orchestre de Paris, conducted by Pierre Boulez.

One of the respected and versatile artists of his generation, Arnold Bezuyen’s career has covered a vast repertoire, from Tamino for the Staatsoper Wien to DAVID Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, and Strawinsky's Les Noces with Orchestre de Paris, conducted by Pierre Boulez.

This year, he returns to the Bayreuth Festival as LOGE, a role he also sings for the Los Angeles Opera, in addition to STEWA at the Staatsoper Hamburg, and JUNGER DIENER and covering AEGISTH Elektra in Bolzano. Further engagements for 2009 - 2010 further include the title role of Fénelon’s FAUST at Opéra National de Paris, Bastille and JUNGER DIENER Elektra in Bolzano, conducted by Gustav Kuhn.

He made his Bayreuth Festival debut as LOGE in 1998 conducted by James Levine, going on to record the role for CD, conducted by Gustav Kuhn. He went on to join the ensemble of the Vienna State Opera and maintains close links with Vienna as a welcome guest in roles such as ALFRED, ERIK and ALWA amongst others. Other highlights have included SCHUISKIJ Boris Godunov at Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona and MATTEO Arabella at Deutsche Oper Berlin. His many engagements have also included appearances in Bonn, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, La Scala Milan, Naples, New York, Kassel, Stuttgart, Tokio and Valencia, with conductors including Sir Andrew Davies, Peter Schneider, Fabio Luisi, James Levine, Seiji Ozawa, Antonio Pappano and Christian Thielemann. Other highlights include RED WHISKERS Billy Budd at Bayerische Staatsoper München. Furthermore he made his debut in Toulouse in the world premiere of Phillipe Fénelon's FAUST (title role) and at Oper Frankfurt in Die Ausflüge des Herrn Broucek.

His busy concert schedule includes Mahler's Das Klagende Lied with the NDR Orchestra at Musikhalle Hamburg, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis in Santiago de Compostela and 9th Symphony at the Musikverein Vienna. In addition he sang Das Lied von der Erde with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra and KLAUS NARR Gurre-lieder in Monte Carlo and the Berliner Philharmonie.
